Welcome to the Cardinal Lace Guild
of Lynchburg, Virginia, 2024!
The Cardinal Lace Guild is a teaching guild that meets year-round on one Saturday per month; often at the Timbrook Library on Leesville Road, but location may vary. Our mission is to share and practice bobbin lace making, and to educate the public on this historical art in an effort to pass on this craft to the next generation.
Due to organizational changes, meetings have been suspended until further notice.
The Lace Guild:
Teaches and practices bobbin lace through personal projects, and also participates in live demonstrations in and around the Blue Ridge area. We welcome new people and have beginner kits available for members to use as they begin their lace making experience.
